Job summary

WGNSTAR is seeking a seasoned operations leader for the Hillsboro, OR area to oversee on-site activities and drive performance in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

You will coordinate account activity, mentor teams, report KPI metrics to leadership, and represent the company in customer-facing meetings to ensure smooth operations and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in the semiconductor industry.
• 3+ years in a management role supervising personnel in a fab environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and locally to customer sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication for emails, letters and presentations.
• Customer-focused, presentable and professional Company representative.
• Excellent critical thinking and ability to manage escalations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for customers and coordinate all account activity.
• Lead account management initiatives and ensure resources support.
• Oversee on-site operations leadership and performance.
• Report KPI metrics to customers and leadership.
• Mentor operations teams and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate site meetings between business teams and customers.
• Represent WGNSTAR in planning, operations and business development meetings.
• Manage and monitor employee performance and costs.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance and business continuity.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $75k-$90k annually, DOE

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Travel: Must be able to travel locally and domestically as needed.

Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the pointof contact for customers; responsible for coordinating all account activity and support.
• Contributeto account management initiatives and ensure that the expertise and resources of the organization are available to support any agreed initiatives.
• Responsible for the overall leadership & management of operations on-site.
• Report on performance KPI’s and metrics to customers and internal leadership.
• Technical mentoring to the Operations teams.
• Coordinate and participate in site meetings between the business teams and customers.
• Represent WGNSTAR planning, operational & business development meetings.
• Management, supervision, coordination and monitoring of employee and team performance.
• Manage the finance of operations and control cost.
• Ensure the Health and Safety of staff and contractors working under WGNSTARdirection.
• Plan and take action to protect company & customer assets, reputation, and ensure business continuity.
• Complete timecard review and submission on a weekly basis.
• Support peers with account coverage as required.

Requirements:

• 5+ yrsexperience in the semiconductor industry.
• 3+ yrs experience in a management role, directly managing personnel in aFab environment.
• Ability to travel locally and domestically to customer sites.
• Ability to travel frequently between Chandler and North Phoenix sites.
• Customer-friendly, presentable, and personable as a Company Representative.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to manage customer escalations in a constructive manner
• IT proficient with ability to write clear, coherent, concise, and professional emails, letters, & presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English - Spoken & Written.

Physical Effort/Activities: On a continuous basis, you will work in an office environment, sit at a desk for a long period of time, intermittently answer the telephone, and use a computer to communicate. On an occasional basis in the performance of duties, may be required to walk, stand, drive, and lift up to 25 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
