Job summary

TUTCO LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair equipment on-site at customer locations in the greater Chicago area. This role serves as the key technical contact between the company and customers.

Responsibilities include testing, commissioning, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and on-site training while coordinating with internal teams and ensuring safety standards are met. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Experience troubleshooting technical equipment or systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer will install, maintain, and repair equipment on-site at customer locations. They serve as a key technical contact between the company and the customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission equipment at client locations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or technical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
• Provide technical support and training to customers
• Document service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, support, logistics)
• Travel to customer sites as needed
