Job summary

POWERX, a leading power engineering services provider, is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) in Georgia. You will perform inspections, tests, measurements on de-energized equipment, set up/test gear, and support project teams.

You will mentor technicians, manage projects from initiation to final report, and write detailed findings. The role requires travel up to 50% and a strong safety mindset. POWERX values people-first culture and ongoing certification incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 3 preferred.
• 5+ years of field experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical measurements and collect data on de-energized equipment.
• Lead projects from start to finish and supervise field technicians.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submission.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain tools and workspace.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.
