Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead a team of 5–10 Technicians. You will provide direction to complete customer jobs within scope and budget, ensuring availability of tools and equipment and enforcing safety policies.

You will mentor staff on performance principles, manage skill matrices, and ensure accurate reporting and SOP compliance. Regular travel is required, with leadership responsibilities and change-order oversight.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safety-focused work behaviors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with data entry and basic Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English in reading, writing, and speaking.
• 2+ years of training/education in the related supervision area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of 5 to 10 Field Service Technicians.
• Provide work direction to execute customer jobs according to scope and budget.
• Ensure technicians have needed tools and equipment.
• Review safety-training weekly and enforce EHS policies.
• Mentor technicians on Human Performance principles and tools.
• Assess skills, maintain quarterly matrices, develop career paths and training plans.
• Ensure accurate data sheets, SOP compliance, customer data and reports.
• Assist technicians with certification exam prep.
• Provide timely, approved change orders and exceptional customer service.
• Meet with supervisory group monthly and provide ongoing feedback.
