Job summary

ABB is seeking a field service professional to provide remote and on-site technical support for ABB equipment in the Southern US region. The role involves coordinating with contractors, planning service technician schedules, ensuring tools and PPE are available, and maintaining rigorous documentation.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and 5+ years in maintenance/service, with knowledge of MV equipment, electrical diagrams, and EH&S regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance service, preferably in renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of MV equipment, electrical diagrams and switchgear.
• Willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote/local technical support to customers and technicians.
• Coordinate with contractors and technicians.
• Plan and manage the scheduling of Service Technician activities and maintain documentation.
• Ensure technicians have needed tools and training; manage inventory and PPE.
• Maintain communication with customers to ensure satisfactory job completion.
