Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. seeks a Field Service Lead to support leadership in Field Service Operations and to train onboarding technicians, both in facilities and in the field. The role includes hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations of electrical systems and equipment.

The FS Lead will coordinate hiring input, team assignments, travel logistics, and field reporting while ensuring safety and compliance with Panelmatic policies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing role focusing on electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and use of multimeter and tools.
• Willingness to take on leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and independent/team work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must live in Youngstown or Houston area or able to relocate.
• Able to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+ and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Service team and coordinate project assignments.
• Assist in onboarding and training of technicians.
• Coordinate travel and per diem for FS teams.
• Represent FS team in Site Coordination activities.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at Panelmatic locations.
• Ensure field service reporting and records.
• Maintain inventory of tools and advise on replacements.
• Perform field installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
