Ray-Jurgen is hiring a Field Service Helper to support our technicians in the field across Connecticut and the Northeast. This entry-level role offers a clear path to becoming a full technician, with two-person installation crews and on-the-job training.

You’ll assist with installation and service jobs, load tools, prep sites, and learn in a physically demanding environment. Most work is outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• You must be able to lift 70+ lbs and work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• On-the-job training provided; no formal license needed.
• Experience in HVAC, construction, building maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians on equipment installation jobs (vehicle lifts, shop infrastructure, and related systems).
• Follow detailed mechanical instructions and contribute to physical jobsite work.
• Load and unload trucks; stage tools and materials for the day's work.
• Learn safe equipment handling and industry best practices.
• Support site prep and clean-up.
• Occasionally assist on service jobs requiring two techs.
