Job summary

Clean Harbors in Whistler / Mobile, AL is seeking a Field Service Foreperson to supervise Field Technicians and oversee emergency response, hazardous waste cleanup, and site remediation projects.

The role involves heavy physical work, strict adherence to OSHA/EPA/H&S standards, and coordination with the coordinator to allocate manpower and equipment for field service and emergency projects. It is travel-intensive and includes on-call duties and paid academy training.

Qualifications

• Experience in physically intensive roles.
• Experience in supervisory/crew lead roles.
• Willing to travel for extended periods, overnight.
• On-call availability for emergency response.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass background check, drug test, and medical per position.
• OSHA respiratory protection facial hair standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Technicians and ensure health and safety are top priorities.
• Train and mentor technicians; manage projects within budget and time.
• Enforce OSHA, EPA and H&S standards and regulations.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and resources for field service and emergency projects.
• Operate PPE and heavy equipment; handle hazardous materials safely.
• Work extended hours and attend compliance/safety meetings.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis; assist in field sampling as needed.
