Field Service Engineer (Windows & Doors) Midlands (Covering Birmingham to Sheffield) C£35,000 p.a. + Company van, fuel card & bonus scheme

Are you experienced in installation and commissioning of UPVC Windows, French Doors, and Composite doors? The Company

The ER Recruitment team is working exclusively with our client, an award-winning organization that is growing rapidly and receiving numerous accolades. They are seeking a Service Engineer to install UPVC Windows in the new-build market, focusing on installation rather than replacement. The ideal candidate will have experience working on homeowner sites, emphasizing organization, timeliness, and tidiness.

Role & Responsibilities

• Install and commission UPVC Windows, French Doors, and Composite doors within the new-build market.
• Experience with aluminium commercial doors and windows is desirable; some experience with curtain wall systems is a plus but not essential.
• Familiarity with Eurocell profile products is advantageous but not required.
• Work mainly in customers' properties, requiring experience in managing homeowner expectations, tidiness, and organizational skills.

About You

• Experienced in installing UPVC windows on new-build sites and installing aluminium commercial entrance doors for apartments and flats.
• Possess a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with site audit reporting software (APP-based) or similar systems is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, decisive judgment, and evaluation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Highly motivated with great attention to detail.
• Calm, level-headed, and professional.
