As we grow, QuidelOrtho is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Western DC area, covering Leesburg, VA, Winchester, VA, and Frederick, MD. This is a field-based position with benefits including a company car, gas card, cell phone, and laptop, with vehicle maintenance covered by QuidelOrtho. The role involves servicing customers across the Western DC territory.
Requirements include:
Preferred: Experience in healthcare or medical devices.
Internal: Field Service team, Sales team, Technical Support, and other organizational units.
External: Customers such as laboratory managers and supervisors.
Primarily outside field work with occasional office time, requiring discipline and organization skills. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a suitable vehicle for travel.
Includes visual, manual, and mobility requirements, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and travel extensively.
The salary range is $65,000 to $85,000, plus bonus. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Compensation is based on various factors including experience and location.
