We are seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Western DC area, including Leesburg, VA, Winchester, VA, and Frederick, MD. This is a field-based position offering a company car, gas card, cell phone, and laptop, with all vehicle maintenance covered by QuidelOrtho. The role involves servicing customers throughout the Western DC territory.
Candidates should be aware of customer credentialing requirements, including immunizations, and that reasonable accommodations are provided where lawful.
Internal: Field Service teams, Sales, Technical Support, and other departments.
External: Customers, including laboratory managers and supervisors.
Typical hours with some overtime, outside field environment, requiring discipline and self-motivation. Must maintain a valid driver's license and a suitable vehicle for travel.
Requires good vision, manual dexterity, and physical ability to travel up to 75%, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
The salary range is $65,000 to $85,000, bonus eligible, with a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and other factors.
