Job summary

Ovivo Switzerland AG is seeking a Technical Services Representative to support commissioning, startup, servicing, upgrading, and aftermarket care of Ovivo SiC Water and Wastewater Systems across the United States. The role centers on field-based work with occasional office presence in Austin, TX.

The candidate will troubleshoot, calibrate, and train clients while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. A strong engineering background and 70% travel are required to ensure reliable performance

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience servicing and/or commissioning water and wastewater treatment systems, Ultrafiltration technology (preferred).
Degree in engineering or related field. A combination of less formal education and experience may also be considered.
Demonstrated understanding of water and wastewater treatment process, equipment and systems including all mechanical, electrical, and programming aspects (preferred).
Experience working in municipal and/or industrial settings.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to liaise professionally with coworkers and clients.
Superior organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask while meeting deadlines.
Experience in execution of commissioning and startups of equipment.
Strong understanding of safety and worksite requirements.
Understanding of Environmental Regulation related to water and wastewater treatment and discharge (preferred).
Fluent in standard computer programs and Microsoft Office Suite programs including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.
Eagerness to travel and spend time at job sites. This role requires approximately 70% travel (US and Canada).
Must hold a valid driver's license and passport

Responsibilities

Participate in system wet testing, commissioning, and startup at client sites and fabrication facilities.
Coordinate with project teams across engineering, management, automation, and drafting.
Perform mechanical maintenance, modification, and calibration on treatment equipment.
Identify and execute small repairs and upgrades.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and HMIs.
Interpret operational data and advise on system operation and troubleshooting.
Develop and review SOPs and Job Hazard Analyses for onsite tasks.
Act as main contact for clients, contractors, and direct reports on site.
