Job summary

Polytec, Inc. (a Chemtrade company) is expanding its Midwest service team in Nebraska. You will install, upgrade, and startup field equipment, configure PLCs, and perform preventive maintenance to keep water treatment systems running reliably.

You’ll travel up to 75% within your territory, work in chemical manufacturing environments, and document all work thoroughly while coaching customers on safe operation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in maintenance with electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Clear communicator who enjoys working directly with customers.
• Willingness to travel overnight within Nebraska territory.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and startup field equipment.
• Configure hardware/software and PLC controls after installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-demand repairs.
• Troubleshoot, test, and validate system performance.
• Document all work thoroughly and manage tools and assets.
• Coach users on safe operation and maintenance best practices.
• Oversee spare parts and replacement components inventory.
