ProAutomated in Englewood, Colorado seeks hands-on Field Service Engineers who love travel and solving complex automation challenges. You’ll support data center startups, perform on-site checks, and collaborate with controls engineers to validate systems in multiple sites across North America.

This role requires a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience, 3+ years in related fields, and willingness to travel on rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking.
• 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel; on-site field work.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams.
• Navigate travel rotations on schedules like 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off.
