Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer for VIDAR to provide technical installation and commissioning support for smart motor equipment across the United States. The role requires up to 75% travel and on-site work in harsh industrial environments, delivering reliable service to clients and internal teams.

You will diagnose, install, and commission systems, align rotating equipment, and prepare detailed reports while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in electrical desirable
• Four years of practical experience with motors and VFDs

Responsibilities

• Provide technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationwide.
• Support rotating equipment alignment to nominated tolerances using dial indicators or laser equipment.
• Provide on-site startup services and troubleshooting across the United States with documentation and reports.
• Demonstrate fault-finding and self-management for correct installation techniques.
• Troubleshoot smart motors and related equipment.
• Assist with assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, and repair of smart motor equipment.
• Travel to support planned business growth and maintain safety standards.
