Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer for VIDAR to install and commission smart motor equipment in harsh industrial environments. This role requires up to 75% travel to support clients and service teams across the United States.

You will perform startup, troubleshooting, and on-site service, documenting procedures and recommendations for reports. A background in electrical engineering with motor control experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade certificate in Electrical/Electronics desirable.
• Four years of practical motor and VFD experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationwide.
• Support equipment alignment to tolerances using dial indicators or laser equipment.
• Perform on-site startup and troubleshooting, document procedures and create reports.
• Demonstrate fault finding and self-management for correct installation techniques.
• Troubleshoot smart motors and related equipment.
• Assist with assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, and repair of smart motor equipment.
• Travel to support planned business growth and client needs.
• Promote safety by following processes and customer safety requirements.
