Job summary

Our client, a global engineering leader, seeks a Field Service Engineer to support customers across Texas and the surrounding region. You will maintain, calibrate, commission, and repair sophisticated testing equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tech experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience required.
  • Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills essential.
  • Strong customer-facing abilities and communication.
  • Experience working on technical equipment and interpreting engineering docs.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and servicing.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Provide customer training and software support.
  • Conduct calibration services and compliance reporting.
  • Support system upgrades and modifications.
  • Maintain service records and reports.
  • Provide expert technical advice to customers.
  • Manage territory scheduling and travel.
