Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform complex field operations, including installation, maintenance, and repairs of power systems equipment. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues, often at customer sites, and identify opportunities for product and process improvements.

The role requires hands-on field experience, a strong electrical/mechanical background, and the ability to travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in field service with power/mechanical equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes for field installations, maintenance and repairs.
• English fluency and US work authorization are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex field service operations with strong technical skills.
• Deliver on-site and remote services including installation, maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues.
• Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis.
• Develop potential sales and business opportunities through customer knowledge.
