Job summary

Eaton is offering a Field Service Engineer Internship in the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team. The internship provides hands-on projects on electrical power distribution equipment and real-world learning through coaching by experienced leaders.

During summer, interns work on measurable projects, receive a structured curriculum, and are mentored to develop technical skills, leadership potential, and industry knowledge. Travel within five U.S. regions is expected.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled or graduated in an engineering program (Bachelor or Master).
• GPA requirement: 2.8 minimum; preferred 3.2+.
• Eligible to relocate within the United States; valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers during internship.
• Perform complex engineering assignments related to equipment, testing, and process studies.
• Gain knowledge in test equipment, troubleshooting, protective relays, and power quality measurements.
• Generate service reports on work, performance, and warranties.
