Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems group offers a Summer Field Service Engineer Internship to provide hands-on experience in electrical power distribution. Participants will be coached by leaders and work on real projects with field assignments that build technical skills and business acumen.

This internship emphasizes training through a structured program, including instructor-led and on-the-job learning, with potential travel up to 25% and relocation within the United States

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s program in engineering
Minimum GPA 2.8
Willing to relocate within the United States
Valid driver's license with clean record

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment
Deliver technical solutions to customers
Perform less conventional complex engineering assignments
Gain knowledge in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting, Protective Relays
Generate timely service reports on work and warranties
