Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems offers a Field Service Engineer Internship. Interns will work on projects in electrical power distribution, deliver solutions to customers, and be mentored by senior engineers during a summer program designed to build technical skills and leadership capabilities.

The internship includes a structured training curriculum with instructor-led sessions, virtual classes, and on-the-job guidance, preparing you for future roles in Eaton's service

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled or graduated in an engineering program.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 for basic qualifications.
• Geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform less conventional engineering assignments including testing and analysis.
• Gain knowledge in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protection design, and power quality.
• Generate timely service reports on work, performance, and warranties.
