Job Description: Semiconductor Must have

The role involves providing field service engineering activities independently to Company customers. The position troubleshoots more complicated products and problems.

Essential Job Functions: Field Service Engineering

• Receives service calls from customers.
• Determines customer needs or problems and responds accordingly.
• Provides over-the-phone consultation and advice, responds to emergency customer situations, or schedules repairs at customer sites.
• Performs preventative maintenance on Company products.
• Establishes and manages local maintenance services.
• Acts as liaison between customer and applications programmer for application requests.
• Researches market needs and customer applications of Company products.
• Submits application reports to management promptly.
• Supports sales activities and maintains good customer relationships.
• Participates in sales meetings as required.
• Provides training to other field service engineers as needed.
• Submits service, weekly, and expense reports timely to management.
