Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain laboratory instrumentation in the greater Cleveland, OH area. Overnight travel is required and the role emphasizes customer relations and on-site training.

Ideal candidates have an electronics-related degree with 3+ years of field service experience, preferably in medical devices, and must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or related discipline is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts).
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.
