Job summary

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will support the Blood Management Centers and Hospitals onsite in the field and provide ongoing customer support. This position is responsible for device installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and basic base management in the local territory. Residency in or near Baltimore, Maryland within commuting distance to the airport is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or related degree.
• 2–5 years of technical field service experience with ability to travel up to 75%
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving abilities and technical writing skills

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems in defined territory.
• Provide onsite technical assistance and drive customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate new system placements and contract renewals.
• Manage service parts inventory and complete SFDC documentation same day.
• Develop manuals and SOPs; travel as required.
