Haemonetics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Blood Management Centers and Hospitals in the field, with on-site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and base management. Residency near North Carolina/South Carolina is required, with travel as needed.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and 2–5 years of field service experience. Travel up to 75% is expected; strong communication and technical writing are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; biotech/biomedical knowledge or military experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant field service experience.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong problem solving.
• Strong technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems within the defined territory.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and customer training; ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate service parts, spare parts management, and issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary interface between field and internal support.
• Document service activities in SFDC on the same day.
