Job summary

Twin Disc is seeking a Product Service Engineer to serve as a technical resource for customers, distributors, and internal teams. You will investigate performance issues, conduct field analyses, support installations, and provide technical training to ensure reliability and performance of Twin Disc products.

This role suits a hands-on engineer with experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems, combining analysis, troubleshooting, and customer engagement in a global, field-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least two years of engineering or technical service experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations using mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Analyze product performance issues and perform root cause failure analysis.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical assistance to customers, distributors, and service personnel.
• Lead and support new product installations and start-ups.
• Verify equipment alignment, performance, and control system functionality.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Service teams.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver technical training programs for customers and distributors.
• Create and update service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
• Travel up to 25% to support field service activities.
