This position reports to

Field Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Work independently to install, modify, test, repair, or inspect company products and equipment including, but not limited to: low voltage and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and rotating machinery.
  2. Perform or coordinate complex and diverse engineering activities associated with field projects.
  3. Interpret technical drawings and schematics and make changes as necessary in the field to reflect work carried out on site.
  4. Assist the business development unit with technical knowledge for generating quotations and proposals.

The work model for the role is: remote. This role is contributing to the Measurement and Analytics group in Houston, TX or Miramar, FL.

Qualifications for the role
  • Three or more years’ experience in marine power generation and power distribution with a focus on circuit breaker and switchgear maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of protection relays and excitation.
  • Associates Degree in engineering or other technical field.
  • Alternately a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Familiarity with marine/offshore work environment and procedures.
