Job summary

PALFINGER MARINE, part of PALFINGER, invites a Service Engineer to support projects and operations in IAT/FAT/SAT and to follow up commissioning activities at customer job sites with the service execution team.

The role involves executing testing of Palfinger MHS products, identifying needed adjustments, and driving solutions with the technical lead. You will document improvements and ensure services meet contractual commitments.

Qualifications

Technical education or equivalent combination of education/experience in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electro/Automation/PLC disciplines.
Maritime/offshore experience is advantageous.
Good English language skills, written and spoken.
Excellent cooperation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to systematically fault trace complex technical issues.
Structured, creative, and able to multi-task.
Offshore health certificate qualification mandatory.

Responsibilities

Carry out testing, installation, commissioning, warranty, service, and maintenance tasks with detailed work packages, including HSE considerations.
Adhere to HSE policies and participate in safety routines.
Maintain daily service reports, punch lists, non-conformances and HSE registers; store documents on designated platforms.
Ensure a clean, organized work environment and timely time-sheet approvals.
Support project success and continuous improvement through lessons learned sessions with product owners.
