Job summary

PALFINGER Marine Norway is seeking Service Engineers to install, commission, inspect, and service advanced cranes and deck equipment globally. You will deliver onshore and offshore interventions and provide hands-on technical support on-site and remotely.

The role requires a technical education or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of hydraulic/electrical systems, and offshore health certification. English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Technical education or strong combination of education and hands-on experience in hydraulic and mechanical/electrical systems.
Experience reading technical drawings and troubleshooting faults.
Offshore/maritime experience is a strong advantage and offshore health certificate is essential.
Fluent English communication and good cooperation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Take the lead in installing, commissioning, inspecting, and servicing cranes, deck equipment, and machinery.
Deliver scheduled and unscheduled service interventions across the globe, onshore and offshore.
Provide hands-on on-site and remote technical support, including planning and preparing service interventions.
Ensure safety and quality by following HSE requirements and quality systems.
Embrace an international service role with travel of 150+ days per year.
