Job summary

Pellenc ST is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain our optical sorting machinery for North American clients. The role requires extensive travel (about 80% on-site) and involves collaborating with a small team to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has electro‑mechanical or industrial machinery experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Electro‑mechanical, automation, or industrial machinery background with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning and maintenance.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics.
• Understanding of pneumatic systems.
• Excellent reporting and synthesis skills.
• Fluent in English for client communication; Spanish or French would be appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain Pellenc ST machinery at client sites.
• Travel to North American client sites (approx. 80% on-site).
• Collaborate with the local team and provide clear field reporting and documentation.

As a Field service Engineer, you will contribute to the circular economy and support our North American clients in adopting sustainable practices. Collaborating with a team (5 people), you will play a key role in installations, commissioning, and maintenance of our machinery. This is a traveling position, requiring 80% on-site client visits.
