Job summary

WGNSTAR is seeking a Field Service Engineer L2 in Hillsboro, OR to perform Decon/Deinstall on semiconductor equipment. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with a pay rate of $25–$35/hr depending on experience.

The position is full-time and eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Candidates should be prepared to handle tool removal, line disconnections, and on-site safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience with Decon/Deinstall on OEM equipment.
• Ability to use SCBA or BAPA respirator.
• At least 1 year of vacuum tool PM or sustaining experience, preferably in dry etch.

Responsibilities

• Remove chamber kits and fore lines as part of Deinstall.
• Disconnect and cap all gas and liquid lines per procedures.
• Power off system and related subcomponents safely.
• Follow LOTO and customer safety protocols at all times.
• Document Deinstall activities and report status to the customer.

Field Service Engineer L2 – Decon/Deinstall

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (7am to 4pm)

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. to $35.00/hr. DOE

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Position Type:Full-time

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

• Removal of chamber kits & fore lines
• Disconnect and cap all gas and liquid lines
• Must be able to perform complete tool shutdown
• Power off all the system and related subcomponents
• Follow all LOTO and customer procedures
• Daily pre-task planning with customer
• Install caps/plugs, shipping fixtures, and casters
• Disassemble the tool in preparation for removal from the fab
• Document all Deinstall activities (2D - Deinstall checklist)
• Reporting status of the Deinstall project
• Must follow all customer safety protocols including LOTO and PPE

Requirements:

• Must know Decon/Deinstall on OEM equipment
• Must be comfortable with BAPA or SCBA (Respirator)
• 1+ years of experience with vacuum tool PM's/sustaining, dry etch preferred

• AMAT / Applied Materials
• LAM
• Hitachi

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
