Job summary

WGNSTAR in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a full-time Deconstruction/Deinstall technician to service semiconductor equipment. The role requires hands-on disassembly, safety protocols, and collaboration with customers. You will remove chamber kits, disconnect lines, install caps, document deinstall activities, and report progress while adhering to LOTO and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

  • Must know Decon/Deinstall on OEM equipment.
  • Must be comfortable with BAPA or SCBA (Respirator).
  • 1+ years of experience with vacuum tool PM's/sustaining, dry etch preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Removal of chamber kits & fore lines.
  • Disconnect and cap all gas and liquid lines.
  • Must be able to perform complete tool shutdown.
  • Power off all the system and related subcomponents.
  • Follow all LOTO and customer procedures.
  • Daily pre-task planning with customer.
  • Install caps/plugs, shipping fixtures, and casters.
  • Disassemble the tool in preparation for removal from the fab.
  • Document all Deinstall activities (2D - Deinstall checklist).
  • Reporting status of the Deinstall project.
  • Must follow all customer safety protocols including LOTO and PPE.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (7am to 4pm)

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. to $35.00/hr. DOE

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Position Type: Full-time

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
