Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team invites you to join a structured summer internship focused on power distribution challenges. You will work on projects for electrical power distribution equipment, deliver technical solutions to customers, and tackle diverse engineering tasks under mentor guidance.

The program blends training, virtual classrooms, and on-the-job learning, preparing you for technical and leadership roles within Eaton.

Qualifications

Actively enrolled or earned a bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum overall GPA 2.8; relocation within the United States may be required.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
Actively enrolled in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering programs; GPA 3.2+ preferred.
Prior electrical/power industry experience is a plus.
Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments involving design, testing, or research.
Gain knowledge in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, and power quality measurements.
