Job summary
The George E. Booth Co. is a family-owned industrial automation sales company seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to cover the Peoria, IL area.

Qualifications
- Experience servicing industrial process control instrumentation and gas detection systems.
- Willing to travel with occasional overnight stays and on-call duty.
- Ability to read technical documentation and communicate clearly to customers and team members.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working independently or in a team.
Responsibilities
- Start-up new units, troubleshoot, calibrate, repair and maintain industrial process control instrumentation and analytical devices, including gas detection and valves.
- Diagnose root causes of equipment problems and implement permanent solutions for customers.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and summarize information for written and oral communication.
- Work across Food & Beverage, Chemical, Water/Wastewater or GMP environments as needed.
- Submit field service reports, calibration certificates, timesheets, and expenses in a timely manner.
