Guided Search Partners is recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturer of instruments for material testing and analysis. The Field Service Engineer will cover accounts in the Charlotte area, traveling regionally and nationally as needed to support customers.

The role includes base salary, bonuses, a company car, vacation/PTO and benefits. Some weeks require Mon–Fri travel within the region and across the U.S.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer facing field service experience.
• Hands on experience with electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to travel around the region and the U.S. as needed.
• Travel may include Mon to Fri some weeks.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical and mechanical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in the Charlotte region to install, service and repair instruments.
• Support other territories in the U.S. as needed.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot instrument issues for customers.

Our client is an established manufacturer of instruments used for material testing and analysis. These instruments are used in a variety of industries including aerospace, metals, auto, medical and other industrial product manufacturers. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer in the Charlotte area to cover accounts in the region. This role will involve traveling to customers in the region but will also include travel around the country to support other territories if needed.
