Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior Field Service Engineer to support Edwards vacuum equipment and Hydrogen Recovery System in semiconductor environments. The initial customer is Micron in Boise, with travel to other U.S. locations as deployment expands.

You will start as an on-site hands-on FSE, troubleshooting, servicing, and supporting customers. The long-term plan is to transition into a Technical Support role after about one year, becoming a true technical resource on the system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service/equipment support experience in semiconductor environments.
• Hands-on vacuum pump/system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Customer-facing and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and on-site Boise work.
• Experience with Edwards Vacuum, hydrogen/gas systems, and photolithography.
• EV/EUV and ASML exposure experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on service, troubleshooting, and customer support for Edwards vacuum equipment and HRS.
• Support deployment at Micron Boise and travel to New York and other U.S. sites.
• Install, commission, and validate system performance in customer environments.
• Develop into a technical resource and transition toward Technical Support after ~1 year.

This is a senior-level Field Service Engineer supporting Edwards' vacuum equipment and Hydrogen Recovery System (HRS) in the semiconductor environment. The initial customer in Boise is Micron, and the engineer will support the deployment/service of this system while also traveling to other U.S. customer locations. Initially, travel will primarily involve Boise and New York, with the support footprint expected to expand as the technology is deployed at additional semiconductor sites. This person will initially operate as an FSE, doing hands-on troubleshooting, service, and customer support. The longer-term plan is for the role to transition toward a Technical Support position after approximately one year, so need someone who can become a true technical resource on the system, not just perform routine maintenance.
