Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks Contract (1099) Field Service Technicians to install and maintain voice, data, and retail technology systems. You will cover an area within 50 miles of the Phoenix area, performing on-site work with fast response times and completing tasks efficiently.

On-site duties include wiring, network hardware installation, telephony support, and site surveys.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of networking hardware and topologies.
• Familiarity with networking products and interfacing.
• Understanding of telephony systems (VOIP, PBX, Key Systems) with hands-on hardware and troubleshooting support.
• Knowledge of computing systems hardware with the ability to provide break/fix support for desktop PC and/or servers.
• Physical installations of hardware including routers, switches, WAPs, servers, POS systems, digital signage and related equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed job documents and use Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license and pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support retail technology systems – POS, Digital Signage, and Video Surveillance.
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys and site audits.
• Submit all job-related documents and deliverables accurately and timely.
• Install LEO satellite receivers, cables and hardware.
• Install Fixed Wireless Antennas, cables and hardware.
