Job summary

Insight Global seeks an on-site field service engineer to service semiconductor processing equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade systems while maintaining records and coordinating with customers to minimize downtime.

The role requires extensive travel, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and experience with robotics and lithography equipment. Training and updates ensure you stay current in the field.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering preferred; Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, preferably lithography, is highly desirable.
• Military experience in related MOS could be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and maintain records and reports.
• Coordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize downtime.
• Order and install parts, respond to emergency service calls as required.
• Instruct customer operators on system operation and maintenance.
