As a Field Service Engineer II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to delivering excellent service for sophisticated analytical and scientific instruments, including Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM), and Focused Ion Beam (FIB). Working with customers across research, industrial, and healthcare settings, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment while providing exceptional customer service.
Work will primarily be in the San Diego, CA area with occasional travel (up to 50% to CA, OR, WA, international, etc.) as needed. The ideal candidate will reside within the assigned territory (San Diego), with a strong preference for candidates based in San Diego, CA within one hour of a major airport.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $31.73–$47.60. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
