Job summary

JBT Marel in the United States is seeking an engineer to install autonomous vehicles and related peripherals, perform testing, debugging, and validation to ensure peak performance.

This role requires 2+ years of engineering experience, reading drawings, and coding in C/C++, MATLAB, Python; travel up to 75% and residency near Detroit or Chalfont. Benefits start day one.

On a given day, you may:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• BS or BSET in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic, etc.) Preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2+ years of full-time engineering work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Prior software experience required (C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Candidates will need to reside in or near Detroit, MI or Chalfont, PA other locations will be considered.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $40.00 - $45.00 an hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
