We are seeking Field Service Engineers to support nationwide customers.

Must be willing to travel to Japan 1-3 months after hire date to participate in a 2-year training program.

The Mission of a Field Service Engineer is to install, modify and service complex semiconductor industry high vacuum equipment and systems, as well as evaluate, troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to such installations and servicing of company products at all types of customer field sites. The role also involves providing a wide range of technical assistance to customers and colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and meet company goals.

What You'll Do

• Perform hands-on field service duties at customer sites, including installations, upgrades, retrofits, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, repairs, and debugging of complex electronic and mechanical systems.
• Recommend equipment modifications or improvements to enhance operation and performance.
• Submit necessary documentation promptly, including timesheets, expense reports, and service reports, adhering to company policies.
• Maintain technical proficiency and troubleshooting skills, including continuing education as required.
• Train less-experienced engineers and act as a key link to customer satisfaction by handling various customer service issues.
