Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Nellis AFB team in Las Vegas, NV, onsite. The role involves hands-on work with the F135 engine, aircraft, and squadron personnel while supporting F-35A operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 8+ years in propulsion/aircraft maintenance, and an active DoD Secret clearance with willingness to travel extensively. This is an onsite role requiring US citizenship and readiness for long deployments.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional engine or aircraft maintenance, logistics, or sustainment operations.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• U.S. citizenship is required for a security clearance.
• Ability to travel extensively, including domestic and international assignments.
• Ability to rotate between first and second shift schedules to support mission and customer requirements.

Mansioni

• Support F-35A/F135 operations to include systems, tooling, material, and offboard system processes.
• Ensure comprehensive reporting on aircraft and engine status, flight reports, operational data, engine configuration status and parts consumption.
• Work with internal P&W teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues while adapting to priorities.
• Identify root cause, coordinate solutions with P&W, JPO, and Lockheed Martin, and coordinate field issues with site manager and engineering.
• Comply with EH&S requirements and participate in CORE initiatives.
• Travel for extended deployments; domestic and international travel possible.
