Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to represent PW at Nevatim Air Base, supporting the Israeli Air Force F-35 CTOL propulsion systems. This customer-facing role requires strong communication and hands-on engineering skills in a high-visibility environment.

The assignment spans 3 to 5 years with in-country commitment; relocation will be required, and duties include maintenance support, collaboration with PW teams and IAF, and reporting on status and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; non-technical degrees considered if related experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in aircraft gas turbine engine maintenance, logistics, or logistics support.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Unaccompanied posting with 3+ years minimum in-country; relocation may be required.
• Willingness to work extended hours during deployments.

Responsibilities

• Support F-35A/F135 operations, including systems, tooling, materials, and processes.
• Interact hands-on with the engine, aircraft, and IAF personnel; perform controls activities and monitor prognostics and MBITS.
• Advise customer on propulsion maintenance in compliance with data and safe operations; coordinate with PW team, IAF, and Lockheed Martin.
• Collaborate with internal PW teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and adapt to changing priorities.
• Provide reporting on activities: aircraft/engine status, flight reports, operational data, and parts consumption; support Government Property Management.
