Job summary

Everllence is seeking a Field Service Operations - Service Engineer to provide on-site service and troubleshooting for engines on stationary plants or sea-going vessels. You will dismantle, inspect, and service fuel equipment, turbochargers, and related components, with extensive travel required.

Requirements include a 1-year certificate and 1–2 years of experience, plus the ability to work independently or as a foreman for teams.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or acceptable to meet the competency requirements of education or experience.
• One or two years of experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists Engineers during onboard service jobs and in workshops.
• Assists Engineers in all related duties for diesel engines, turbochargers, propeller gears and other company products.
• Diagnoses reasons for failure.
• Assembles components after repair.
• Prepares reports for smaller routine jobs, individually or as foreman for a group.
• Maintains good relations and communication with customers while performing duties.
• Travel required via car, train, plane, boat, and sometimes helicopter with short notice.
