Job summary

Volvo Penta North America in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Field Service Engineer for the Northeast region. You will support dealer networks and customers with advanced troubleshooting, repair, and installation of marine and industrial engines, and help develop service capabilities in electrification, connectivity, and remote diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial technology, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource and escalation point for complex applications, troubleshooting and repair for industrial and marine engines and solutions.
• Lead investigations into product issues and coordinate with dealers and customers.
• Develop service capabilities in dealer networks including electrification, connectivity, and remote diagnostics.
• Promote use of Volvo Penta digital tools and support campaigns.

Education
