Job summary

SOC Federal Services seeks Field Service Technicians to provide hands-on support for client products on-site and in the field. Roles include assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and field upgrades across diverse environments.

Positions require up to 75% travel (CONUS/OCONUS); candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, a DoD Secret clearance and have 5+ years of relevant experience. Based in the St. Louis area with TDY to customer sites.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with minimum 5+ years of relevant field service experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Must be able to travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations 50–75%.
• Proficient in using laptops and related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine technical support for maintenance, repairs, modification, equipment setup and testing.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using drawings and technical documentation.
• Perform repairs/modifications with hand tools and test equipment.
• Assist in setup and adjustment of complex equipment for users or operators.
• Complete written documentation and feedback for onsite service.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers with professionalism and clear communication.
• May provide formal or informal customer training.
