Job summary

You will lead root-cause investigations, coordinate field upgrades, and mentor field staff while delivering NET training and ensuring fielded systems meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of field engineering, integration, or sustainment experience on complex military equipment.
• Experience operating, calibrating, and troubleshooting EO/IR and radar sensor systems.
• Strong systems-level troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, software, and network domains.
• Networking fundamentals knowledge and ability to troubleshoot connectivity.
• Proficient in analyzing large data sets with Python or equivalent.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and work irregular hours.
• U.S. Citizenship with active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to customer and field sites to install, operate, maintain, and sustain complex military equipment.
• Coordinate reach back with home-station engineering to resolve issues that exceed on-site capability.
• Lead root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions to closure with engineering.
• Plan and execute field modifications and upgrades under configuration control.
• Execute site acceptance and checkout procedures and document results.
• Verify EO/IR and radar sensor performance in the field.
• Load software and firmware and verify network connectivity in the field.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to field service representatives.
• Act as a customer-facing technical point of contact during integration and test events.
• Capture operational requirements and relay feedback to engineering.
• Support training and NET and deliver instruction to operators and maintainers.
• Maintain field service logs and status reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
