Job summary

GALT Aerospace in San Diego, CA is seeking a full-time Field Service Representative to support the integration and test of networked communication systems onsite.

The role requires hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting, DoD familiarity, and the ability to travel up to 50% as needed. You will install servers, configure networks, and produce technical documentation for system testing.

Qualifications

• Experience with tactical data links and field testing of military comms systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments and network gear.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for podded communication systems.
• Act as liaison to supported military units/elements.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and configurations.
• Develop test prototypes and troubleshooting procedures.
• Generate documentation for systems and subsystems testing.
• Install and configure Windows/Linux servers.
• Set up DNS/Exchange/Active Directory and maintain virtual environments.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot network gear and security devices.
• Capture and deploy system images.
