Job summary

W3Global in the Duluth, MN area is seeking a mid-level Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on capital diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. This is a field-based role requiring travel to client locations.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year degree in electronics, at least three years of relevant hands-on experience in digital imaging equipment, and strong customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Two-year post-secondary degree or certificate in electronics or equivalent training.
• Minimum of three years work experience, preferably in digital imaging or a specific modality.
• Experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred; CT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install diagnostic imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations per specifications.
• Interact with customers to identify issues and maintain relationships.
• Troubleshoot and service multiple products across modalities.
• Provide timely service reports, part orders, and timecards.
• Travel to customer sites and coordinate with managers as needed.
