Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Service Representative for a weapons systems program aboard JBLM, WA. You will join an end-user embedded CLS team supporting the IFPC Inc 2 Launcher/Interceptor, performing on-site maintenance and field-level tasks.

The role requires deployment readiness, overtime/shift flexibility, and the ability to work with military personnel; you will train with technical instructors and maintain readiness for worldwide deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years equivalent experience/combined education.
• Active SECRET clearance required.
• Understanding of basic software networking; ability to configure software/hardware for tests.
• Ability to upload and verify software packages/updates for launcher/interceptor solution.
• Must meet deployment standards per DoD directives and modifications.
• Must possess a valid U.S. Passport with travel eligibility.
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must lift up to 35 lbs and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and sustainment program: scheduling services, HW configuration, HW/SW troubleshooting, and HW/SW installation.
• Contribute to Root Cause Analysis and failure troubleshooting beyond end-user level (software/hardware/networks).
• Recommend courses of action to customer, end-user, and peers based on experience.
• Create, update, and complete Work Orders; verify maintenance reports.
• Read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Inspect electrostatic sensitive devices.
• Support ongoing training programs with technical trainers for service members.
• Understand customer expectations to provide optimal support with focus on mission, values, and goals.
• Maintain open communication with customer, end-user, and partner companies.
• Demonstrate discipline, adaptability, attention to detail, sound judgement, initiative, and collaboration.
